Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse to join our team. The role involves providing high-quality care to laboring patients and their newborns, including post-operative care for c-section patients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Labor and Delivery and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Manage care of the laboring patients, including monitoring and assessment.
- Provide immediate care to the newborn after delivery.
- Circulate and recover patients following cesarean sections.
- Perform vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections, and assist with various procedures such as D&Cs, cerclages, and epidurals.
- Collaborate with the unit team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- 2 years of Labor and Delivery nursing experience.
- Current RN license and valid certifications: AWHONN Intermediate (not advanced), CEFM, ACLS, BLS, NRP.
- Ability to float as needed within a collaborative team environment.
