Position:
Pediatric Acute Care Registered Nurse

Location:

Vanderbilt University Medical Center, Nashville, Tennessee

Shift: 7pm–7am

• Apply the nursing process to plan and implement care of patients, including patient and family education and continuum of care planning.
• Communicate pertinent patient/family information to the health care team.
• Collaborate in establishing patient goals and evaluate progress to ensure effective outcomes.
• Coordinate and implement care delivery while anticipating patient care needs across the continuum.
• Analyze comprehensive information to determine nursing diagnoses.
• Continuously evaluate patient progress toward goals and apply appropriate interventions.
• Promote health and maintain a safe environment.
• Additional duties may be assigned as needed.

• Evidence‑Based Practice: search for evidence to answer clinical questions.
• Care Planning: anticipate resource needs, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple assignments.

  Education:
  
  provide education on practical applications.
• Nursing Patient Assessment & Evaluation: assess patients, conduct interviews and physical examinations.

• Licensure:
  Registered Nurse.
• Experience:
  
  1year of relevant nursing experience.
• Education:
  
  Graduate of an approved discipline‑specific program.
