Travel Nurse RN CVICU – Nashville, TN

ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is recruiting a Registered Nurse for a 13‑week travel assignment in a 16‑bed Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit. Assignment starts ASAP and requires a minimum of 2 + years of recent bedside experience.

Duration: 13 weeks.

Shift: 12‑hour nights, 36 hrs per week.

Payment: tax‑free stipend (amount to be determined).

Referral bonus: $750.

• Work in a 16‑bed Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit.
• Patient ratios of 1:2, with 1:1 for certain device patients.
• Schedule 2 weekends per month.
• Observe 1 summer holiday (Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day).
• Observe 2 winter holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day).
• Float to other ICUs and floors as needed.
• Provide care to immediate post‑operative cardiac surgery patients.
• Assist with ECMO, Centrimags, and HM3 LVADs.
• Assist with central line insertion, Swan–Ganz catheter insertion, and intubations.
• Document in the Meditech system.
• Follow dress code: black, red, or galaxy blue scrubs with scrub jackets/vests only.

• Minimum 2 + years of recent hospital bedside experience.
• Ability to start within 5 weeks.
• ACLS and BLS certifications.
• Strong critical care experience, including CVICU experience.
• Skills with PA catheter and hemodynamic monitoring.
• Preferred experience:
  
  IABP, Impella, and CRRT.
• Experience with post‑operative cardiac surgery, ECMO, Centrimags, HM3 LVADs, central line and Swan catheter insertion, intubations.

The facility houses a 16‑bed Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit that has received the HCA Unit of Distinction Award and Daisy Award recognition. It hosts 5 full‑time surgeons and an intensivist assigned 24/7, offering advanced cardiac surgery and device management within a team‑focused environment.
