Job Summary
Applies the nursing process to plan and implement the care of patients, including patient and family education and continuum of care planning. Effectively communicates pertinent patient/family information to the health care team and collaborates in establishing patient goals to evaluate progress and ensure effective outcomes.
ScheduleThree 12‑hour shifts from 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. (total 36 hours per week) with some weekends. Eligible units receive a premium night shift differential of $10 per hour.
What You’ll Need- At least 1 year of RN experience
- State or Compact RN license (TN license within 60 days of acquiring a Tennessee address, even if holding a compact license)
- Care for patients with disorders of the kidney, liver, and pancreas, including end‑stage liver/kidney disease, surgical weight loss, peritoneal dialysis, and pre‑through‑post‑transplant of kidney, liver, and pancreas
- Collaborates in establishing the plan of care and coordinates and implements care delivery while anticipating patient care needs across the continuum.
- Analyzes comprehensive information to determine nursing diagnosis and evaluates patient progress toward goals.
- Utilizes the nursing process to apply appropriate interventions, promotes health, and ensures a safe and healthy environment.
- Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum 1 year of relevant nursing experience
- Graduate of an approved discipline‑specific nursing program
