Job Summary
Applies the nursing process to plan and implement the care of patients, including patient and family education and continuum of care planning. Effectively communicates pertinent patient/family information to the health care team. Collaborates in establishing patient goals and evaluates progress to ensure effective outcomes. Furthers professional growth by engaging in learning activities according to the Board of Nursing standards. Position is 12‑hour shifts;
PRN (scheduled as needed).
- Collaborate in establishing the plan of care and coordinate and implement care delivery while anticipating patient care needs across the continuum.
- Analyze comprehensive information pertinent to the patient's care and management to determine nursing diagnosis.
- Continuously utilize the nursing process to evaluate patient progress toward goals and apply appropriate interventions to ensure effective outcomes.
- Employ strategies to promote health and a safe and healthy environment.
- Communicate pertinent patient/family information to the health care team.
- Evidence‑Based Practice (Novice):
Search for evidence to answer clinical questions, working under the direction of others. - Care Planning (Novice):
Anticipate resource needs, set priorities, schedule activities, and manage multiple assignments. - Nursing Patient Education (Novice):
Provide patient education in practical applications of moderate difficulty. - Nursing Patient Assessment & Evaluation (Novice):
Conduct primary care patient interviews, physical examinations, gather clinical data to aid referral or treatment.
- Execute responsibilities with an understanding of how output affects related areas and teams.
- Analyze moderately complex problems using technical experience and judgment.
- Provide informal guidance and support to team members.
- Serve others with compassion, customize services to meet stakeholder needs.
- Apply continuous improvement and safety practices.
- Manage resources effectively and make data‑driven decisions.
- Foster innovation through new ideas and technology application.
- Adapt to change and view challenges as improvement opportunities.
- Licensure:
Registered Nurse (licensure required). - Experience:
1 year of relevant nursing experience. - Education:
Graduate of an approved nursing program. - Certification:
Licensure in other nursing disciplines as applicable.
