Temp Force Nursing Collab
Job SummaryApplies the nursing process to plan and manage the care of complex patients in a comprehensive manner. Recognizes complex learning needs and prepares individual teaching plans for patients/families and consistently demonstrates effective patient education to peers. Consistently ensures a comprehensive continuum of care plan in collaboration with the health care team. Demonstrates and role models effective communication and conflict resolution skills.
Ensures evidence-based care and continuously monitors patient outcomes. Furthers professional growth by engaging in learning activities according to Board of Nursing standards. Floats across entities to fulfill requirements of the role.
- Premium Pay – $65/hr (see below for incentive pay rate for night shift)

- RNs typically work 36‑40 hours per week based on unit needs

Qualifications- Registered Nurse required
- Graduate of an approved discipline‑specific program (or equivalent) and 1 year of recent ED RN experience; preferred 2 or more years
- Registered Nurse
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS
- Collaborate in establishing the plan of care and coordinate and implement care delivery while anticipating patient care needs across the continuum.
- Analyze comprehensive information pertinent to the patient’s care and management to determine nursing diagnosis.
- Continuously utilize the nursing process to evaluate patient’s progress toward goals and apply appropriate interventions to ensure effective outcomes.
- Employ strategies to promote health and a safe and healthy environment.
- Additional duties as assigned.
- Care Planning – demonstrates ability to anticipate resource needs, prioritize tasks, and schedule activities.
- Nursing Patient Education – provides patient education in practical applications of moderate difficulty.
- Nursing Patient Assessment & Evaluation – conducts primary care patient interviews, physical examinations, and gathers pertinent clinical data.
- Evidence‑Based Practice – searches for evidence to answer clinical questions under direction of others.
