Dialysis Registered Nurse, RN

Responsibilities

• Perform hemodialysis treatment procedures delivering safe, efficient care of the highest quality and providing specialized registered nursing care in accordance with state law.
• Use professional nursing knowledge to act as a resource for staff.
• Utilize assessment, technical, collaborative, documentation, and leadership skills on a daily basis.
• Maintain strong relationships, regular communication, and visibility with clients such as site Managed Healthcare, DOC/BOP, etc.
• Provide care at the dialysis unit located in Nashville, TN, within Lois M DeBerry Special Needs Facility, operating Monday‑Saturday.

• Graduation from an accredited nursing school or equivalent.
• Current RN license for Tennessee and current CPR certification (or to be obtained within three months of hire).
• Ability to read, write, speak, understand, and communicate in English.
• One year of hemodialysis RN experience required (two to three years preferred).
• Experience must be within the past two years.
• Strong technical/computer proficiency with laptops, tablets, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint, etc.
