Registered Nurse - Med/Surg (Neuro) - Nights
Location:
Nashville, TN
Assignment Duration:
This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule:
7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Job Description:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse for our Med/Surg Neuro unit. The nurse will play a critical role in providing attentive and compassionate care to patients and their families, ensuring a focus on personalized care plans.
- Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients on the neuro medical/surgical unit.
- Conduct bedside shift reports and engage with patients and family members.
- Prioritize care, multitask effectively, and maintain a 6:1 patient ratio.
- Perform essential nursing skills including starting IVs, basic wound care, and managing surgical drains.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to create and adjust patient care plans.
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- BLS certification required.
- Previous Med/Surg experience preferred.
