Description:
Free floating charge nurse to assist staff. Unit secretary and Administrative Care Tech M-F . Student Nurse Externs on variable shifts that assist nurses by performing tech duties. - Type of Equipment:

Scheduling Requirements
- 2 weekends/month
- 1 summer holiday (Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day)
- 2 Winter Holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Years Eve, New Years Day)
Floating Policy: C/L employees float as needed, typically to other ICUs but can include other floors.

Must have:
Strong critical care experience, including CVICU experience. Advanced skills needed:
Skills with PA catheter and hemodynamic monitoring required, preferred experience with IABP, Impella, and CRRT. - Procedures Performed on Unit:
Provide care to immediate post-operative cardiac surgery patients, including ECMO, Centrimags, and HM3 LVADS. Perform central line insertion, swan insertion, intubations, etc. on unit. - Certifications
Required:
ACLS, BLS - Dress Code: (Required uniform) Scrubs black, red, or galaxy blue, scrub jackets/vests only

Additional Information: 16 bed CVICU with 5 full time surgeons performing high volume and advanced cardiac surgeries. Specialize in post-operative cardiac surgery care and devices. Intensivist assigned to unit 24/7. Strong driven team of nurses with excellent teamwork.
