Registered Nurse – Emergency Room

Job Summary:

Provides specialized nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department, ensuring swift assessment and treatment in a fast-paced environment. Collaborates with healthcare teams to deliver high-quality emergency medical services.

Responsibilities:

• Render comprehensive emergency nursing care to patients presenting with diverse acute conditions.
• Monitor patient vital signs and clinical status continuously.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Educate patients and families about care plans and discharge instructions.
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and responses accurately.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to prioritize patient care needs.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active RN license in the state of Tennessee.
• Possess at least 2 years of recent ER nursing experience.
• Demonstrate strong assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Be able to work 12-hour shifts, including nights.
• Show excellent communication and patient advocacy skills.
