Registered Nurse Labor and Delivery

Job Summary:

Seeking an experienced LDRP nurse with strong Mother Baby and Labor & Delivery expertise to provide exceptional patient care. The role involves working between L&D and Mother Baby units, including float duties, with a focus on caring for obstetric patients.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive obstetric, labor, delivery, and postpartum care for mothers and newborns.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe and effective patient management.
• Monitor fetal and maternal health signs continuously and respond to emergencies promptly.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes.
• Adhere to clinical protocols, policies, and safety standards consistently.
• Support new staff during orientation and foster a positive team environment.

Qualifications:

• Valid TN state license or multi-state compact license required at submission.
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant LDRP nursing experience.
• Certifications:
  
  BLS, ACLS, CPI (or MAB), NIH, AWHONN, NRP, STABLE.
• Demonstrate competency in labor, delivery, postpartum, and neonatal care.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including 12-hour night shifts.
• Comfortable working with diverse patient populations, including prison inmates.
