Position: Registered Nurse - NICU (Neonatal Intensive Care) |

Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years NICU RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Seeking an experienced advanced practice provider to deliver comprehensive care in a dynamic Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) environment. This direct hire position offers the rewarding opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of critically ill and recovering infants alongside a collaborative, multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Key Qualifications
  • Current or eligibility for Tennessee Nurse Practitioner license (consideration may be given if licensure can be obtained within three months per state guidelines)
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant NICU Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant experience required
  • Master’s degree in nursing or related field
  • Previous background in acute or critical neonatal care
  • Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and communication skills
Primary Responsibilities
  • Obtain and document detailed health histories and perform comprehensive, system-focused, or symptom-specific physical exams for neonates
  • Deliver advanced neonatal care for critically ill and complex NICU patients, making evidence-based clinical decisions from admission through discharge
  • Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic procedures and assessments
  • Develop differential diagnoses, treating both acute and chronic neonatal conditions
  • Prescribe and implement therapeutic interventions, including pharmacologic, non-pharmacologic, and surgical treatments
  • Provide skills in delivery room and neonatal transport services, plus facilitate referrals and interdepartmental consultations
  • Support patient transitions within and between healthcare settings, including admissions, transfers, and discharges

Outstanding Benefits:
