American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a High Risk OB position requiring AWHONN, NRP, and prior labor and delivery experience.

• Work in a 25-bed High Risk OB unit within a Women's and Children's building
• Patient ratios range from 1:1 up to 6:1 depending on acuity
• Charge nurse/CNC coverage each shift with unit secretary support when available
• Documentation systems used include Connect and Expanse
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Floating required to OB ED, Mother Baby, and Labor and Delivery units
• Unit performs c-sections, vaginal deliveries, and bereavement care

• Active TN or compact RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, NRP (Advanced 9th Edition), and AWHONN (Intermediate or Advanced) or NCCEFM
• Must have high risk antepartum, labor and delivery, and c-section experience
• Experience with magnesium drip administration required
• GYN experience required
• Must be able to circulate c-sections
• US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration
• One professional reference required for most states, two required for Florida and Missouri
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

• Care for high risk obstetric patients including antepartum, labor and delivery, and postpartum cases
• Required uniform colors include navy blue, seal blue, and grey scrubs
• Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility, no local candidates accepted
