Travel RN - Telemetry - Progressive Care Unit

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Burn ICU/PCU position requiring med/surg experience and NIH Stroke Certification.

• Active TN or compact RN license required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• NIH Stroke Certification required for Burn Unit (ICU) placement
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Prior med/surg experience required
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• US SSN and DOB required for consideration
• Professional references required (2 for FL and MO, 1 for all other states)

• Burn ICU unit with 12 beds
• Patient ratios of 2:1 in ICU and 4:1 for med/surg and PCU patients
• Staffing includes Charge RN, RNs, and PCTs
• Equipment used includes ventilators, specialty beds, and occasional CRRT
• Documentation completed in Meditech
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Minimum of 4 weekend shifts required per 4-week schedule
• Contract labor floats first per unit floating policy
• Provide direct patient care within a specialized Burn ICU/PCU setting
• Navy scrubs required as part of the dress code
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility with no exceptions for local candidates
