American Traveler is hiring an experienced Operating Room RN for a 26-week assignment in a Level 1 trauma hospital's OR Float Pool, requiring prior travel experience and a minimum of 2 years OR circulating experience.

• Work in the OR Float Pool of a 1000+ bed Level 1 trauma hospital
• Facility includes a 56-bed OR (inpatient and outpatient) plus 5 procedural rooms
• Adult patient population only, no pediatric cases
• All service lines except cardiac, transplant, trauma, and neuro
• Case types include neuro, trauma, general, ortho, GYN, urology, ENT, plastics, cardiothoracic, vascular, transplant (liver, renal, pancreas), robotic, hybrid rooms (cysto, bronch, lead extraction), ambulatory ortho, burn, and hepatic-biliary
• 12-hour day shifts scheduled 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, 36 hours per week
• Weekday scheduling varies based on unit needs; no block schedule available
• Late stay coverage required, up to four late stays expected during a 13-week period
• May float between OR units within the facility but not between separate locations

• Active RN license (TN or Compact) required and must be on file at time of consideration
• Minimum of 2 years of Operating Room experience required
• Circulating experience required; scrub experience not required
• Prior travel nursing experience required

• Provide circulating RN coverage across a wide range of surgical service lines and case types
• Orientation dates are limited to specific start dates, with no exceptions for late starts
• Time off during the assignment is expected to be minimal, with availability required for 2 of 3 major holidays
• Local candidates accepted at a lower rate under the facility's radius rule of 75 miles
