# Job Opportunity – NICU Registered Nurse – TennesseeStart Date: October 19, 2026
Location: Chattanooga, Tennessee
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 36 hours per week with occasional optional overtime, variable weekends, standby/call availability for low census highly preferredHighlights:

Level III NICU with 23-bed unit and acuity-based patient ratios ranging from 1:1 to 1:3 (occasionally 1:4)
Advanced neonatal equipment including Giraffe Omnibed, Panda warmers, Drager ventilators, oscillators, and multiple respiratory support modalities
Documentation systems:
Centricity Perinatal and Meditech
Minimal floating required; optional opportunities to float to mother-baby unit as tech
Work alongside highly experienced staff, many with 20-35+ years of NICU expertise
Comprehensive scope of practice including PIV insertion, feeding tube placement, lab draws, central line management, and respiratory care in collaboration with RRT

Requirements:

Active RN license in Tennessee or eligibility to obtain
Minimum one year of NICU nursing experience required
Level III or Level IV NICU experience strongly preferred
Current BLS, NRP, and STABLE certifications required
Proficiency in neonatal procedures including vascular access, airway management, and critical care interventions
