Job Details:- Night shift position
- Perform nursing assessments on all patients within 8 hours of admission
- Develop and follow individualized care plans based on collected patient data
- Identify teaching needs and goals related to each patient's diagnosis through collaboration with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary team
- Provide patient information and status updates for Initial Team Conferences and weekly Re-evaluation Team Conferences
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation of all assessments, interventions, and patient responses in the medical record
- Participate in patient rehabilitation programs and deliver direct patient care using the nursing process
- Initiate discharge planning from the day of admission and provide patient teaching in anticipation of discharge
- Communicate pertinent information regarding changes in patient status to attending physicians and charge nurses
- Provide direction, training, and supervision of Licensed Practical Nurses, Certified Nursing Assistants, and orientees
- Adhere to all hospital guidelines related to standards of personal appearance, attendance, and punctuality
- Prioritize patient and employee safety in accordance with hospital policies and procedures
- Minimum two years of bedside clinical experience highly desired
- Required certifications: BLS (must be obtained prior to first shift), ACLS (required prior to first shift for CIRH only)
