Medical Technologist & Lab Technician
We're looking for a skilled and motivated Senior Biomedical Technician (Level II) to join our growing team. In this role, you'll help ensure that critical medical equipment is safe, reliable, and operating at peak performance. Key Responsibilities- Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and repairs on a wide range of biomedical equipment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues to minimize downtime.
- Conduct equipment testing, calibration, and safety inspections in accordance with regulatory standards.
- Maintain accurate service records, maintenance logs, and repair documentation.
- Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure equipment is functioning efficiently and safely.
- Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, and replacements.
- Follow all hospital, manufacturer, and regulatory guidelines for equipment maintenance.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and provide technical guidance when needed.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Associate's degree in Biomedical Equipment Technology, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum 1 year of hands-on biomedical equipment repair and maintenance experience
. - Professional certifications such as CBET, CLES, or SRES are highly preferred.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
- Ability to successfully pass a background check.
