We’re partnering with a leading Tier 1 automotive supplier that is looking to add a Supplier Quality Engineer to their team. This is a high-impact role where you’ll work closely with both internal teams and global suppliers to drive quality performance, support new product launches, and ensure world-class manufacturing standards.

What You’ll Be Doing- Lead supplier quality performance initiatives
, including tracking and improving key KPIs - Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions (8D, etc.) with suppliers to ensure long-term solutions
- Review and approve PPAP submissions
, ensuring compliance with customer and internal requirements - Partner with suppliers and internal teams to manage process changes and continuous improvement efforts
- Support new product launches
, ensuring purchased components meet all quality expectations from day one - Ensure suppliers meet all customer-specific requirements and IATF 16949 standards
- Own and manage nonconforming material processes
, including “Hold for Inspection” items - Lead or support cross-functional problem-solving and quality improvement projects
- Conduct audits, inspections, and provide guidance/training to internal teams and suppliers as needed
- Drive cost recovery efforts related to supplier quality issues
- 3–5+ years of Supplier or Quality Engineering experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of:
- IATF 16949
- PPAP / APQP / Core Quality Tools
- Experience working directly with suppliers and managing performance issues
- Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP preferred)
- Ability to lead root cause analysis and drive corrective actions across organizations
- VDA Auditor certification
- Certified Quality Engineer (CQE)
- High-visibility role with direct impact on supplier performance and plant quality
- Exposure to new launches and advanced manufacturing programs
- Collaborative environment with strong cross-functional engagement
