Position: Clerk, Records I

Position Purpose

Ensures the accuracy and quality of data that had been systematically or manually entered into an indexing system.

Logistics and Location

Job type: full‑time (40‑hours/week).

Work schedule:

Monday‑Friday, 8am‑5pm. Office environment.

Location:

26 Century Blvd, Suite 610, Nashville, TN 37214.

Key Responsibilities
  • Verify the accuracy and quality of the data entered into the indexing system.
  • Make necessary corrections to ensure electronic data accurately reflects the original data.
  • Prepare necessary reports on productivity.
  • Participate in special projects as assigned.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Communicates appeals status.
  • Documents appeals resolution.
  • Processes appeals.
  • Supports second level reviews.
  • Works on claims caseloads.
