Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Safety Technician to join our team in Nashville, TN. As a Safety Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a safe and compliant work environment for all employees. Your expertise will help us maintain high safety standards and foster a culture of safety throughout our facility. Responsibilities
  • Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify potential hazards.
  • Develop and implement safety policies and procedures in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Provide training and support to employees on safety practices and emergency response protocols.
  • Investigate accidents and incidents, documenting findings and recommending corrective actions.
  • Maintain safety records and reports, ensuring accurate documentation of safety-related activities.
  • Collaborate with management to promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in safety management.
Qualifications
  • Associate's degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field;
    Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a safety role, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and safety management software.
  • Certifications such as Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Occupational Health and Safety Technician (OHST) are a plus.
