This is a full-time/exempt term position lasting six months to one year. As a Research Projects Coordinator, you will play a key role in supporting research projects in health services research, public health, epidemiology, medicine, health policy, or related disciplines, with some guidance. Responsibilities may include project coordination, literature searches, information collection, and report preparation. This role provides general project support and coordinates dissemination of information.

Your day-to-day duties/tasks will consist of:

  • Coordinating research activities, including outreach, researcher support, and administrative operations.
  • Managing research databases, tracking study metrics, and ensuring data quality.
  • Developing and maintaining REDCap projects, surveys, and reports.
  • Supporting implementation and improvement of operational workflows and standard operating procedures.
  • Collaborating with investigators, research staff, program leadership, and external partners to support program goals.
  • Assisting with special projects, process improvement initiatives, and new program launches.
  • Troubleshooting operational issues and identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and participant experience.
  • Supporting multiple concurrent projects and adapting to evolving program priorities.

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience)
  • 2 years of relevant experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Public Health, Clinical Research, Health Sciences, Epidemiology, Healthcare Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience coordinating multiple research studies, projects, or operational initiatives simultaneously.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify process gaps, recommend solutions, and drive issues to resolution independently.
  • Proven ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams and build collaborative relationships with investigators, participants, clinical staff, and external partners.
  • Strong interest in continuous learning, professional development, and expanding responsibilities in a dynamic research environment.
  • Advanced REDCap experience, including survey development, database design, reporting, data quality management, and troubleshooting.
  • Experience developing, implementing, and improving research workflows, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and operational processes.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize competing demands while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Experience in participant-facing research, clinical research coordination, public health programs, or large-scale research initiatives preferred.
  • Knowledge of human subjects research regulations, Good Clinical Practice (GCP), and research compliance requirements.
