: $16.50 to $19.50 per hour

We are seeking entry-level, full-time sales associates in our pawn store locations nationwide. The Pawnbroker / Retail Sales Associate roles partner with the store staff to ensure customer service on both lending and retail sides. The associate greets, engages, and interacts with customers to process sales, loans, and other transactions, and assists with inquiries and problem resolution. The role involves working with a wide variety of jewelry, general merchandise, tools, electronics, firearms (in FFL locations), and more.

The position offers hourly pay plus commission based on productivity.

• Greet and interact with customers to develop rapport and recommend appropriate financial solutions.
• Perform non-management open/close procedures.
• Keep the sales floor clean, stocked, and maintain merchandise displays.
• Process sales and loan transactions per policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Handle cash and negotiable items per policies and procedures.
• Answer incoming calls per company standards.
• Explain the legal aspects of pawn and buy transactions to customers.
• Communicate effectively with coworkers and managers and provide a positive customer experience.
• Complete assigned training and other related duties as needed.

• - Lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
• - Ability to perform duties for extended periods (standing, stooping, walking, climbing, pushing, pulling, etc.).
• - Ability to work with firearms and to become firearms certified.
• - Willingness to assist customers on exterior areas of the property as needed.
• - Minimum Age: 18;
  High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• - Strong desire to serve customers, be team-oriented, and work in a fast-paced environment.
• - Ability to multi-task and perform basic math; cash handling experience preferred.
• - Ability to work at multiple locations as needed and maintain a flexible retail schedule including weekends and holidays.
• - Computer literacy and ability to operate POS systems.

The employee commission incentive plan is proprietary to First Cash. Pawnbrokers have the potential to earn 2-8% commission based on gross profit of personal performance. More details are provided during the interview process.
