We are seeking a highly motivated and energetic Sales Representative/Account Executive to join our team. For over 25 years, Adcom Worldwide has offered the finest the transportation industry. In this role, you will generate leads, attract new clients, and close deals primarily in the southeastern US; however account executives can sell globally and register leads for companies in other locations. Your responsibilities will include building rapport with prospective, within your territory, evaluating their needs and selling our services.
The ideal candidate has an outgoing personality, exceptional customer service skills and a strong new clients.
- Develop rapport and build relationships with existing and potential customers >
- Meet or exceed designated sales targets
- Create and implement an effective sales strategy
Document all leads, sales and customer interactions - Use knowledge of International and domestic freight forwarding to educate potential and existing customers
- Expected to sell to the southeastern US, so travel will be necessary
Travel to appointments and meetings with potential and existing customers within your territory
Looking for representatives in Charleston, SC, Nashville, TN, Savannah, GA, Raleigh, NC and Atlanta, GA.
Qualifications- High school diploma/GED required, Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 3+ years experience in Freight Forwarding, Transportation, Logistics or other comparable fields
- International and domestic freight forwarding knowledge such as: FTL, LTL, Containerized Freight, Air and Ocean Freight, Customs Regulations, Dangerous Goods, Incoterms, etc.
- Must be able to provide detailed commission reports listing services you have previously sold or comparable portfolio
- Ability to rapidly learn logistical operations processes and transportation terminology
- Excellent customer service, written and verbal communication skills
- A positive attitude and ability to be persistent
- Must have a clean background and be drug‑free
- Must reside in the US and be able to legally work in the US
