We are seeking a high‑energy, relationship‑driven Area Sales Manager to help blaze that path across your assigned territory. This role is ideal for an early‑career beverage sales professional who understands the on‑premise world and wants to be on the front edge of where the industry is going.
You will work hands‑on with wholesalers, venue operators, and high‑volume on‑premise accounts to open doors, drive velocity, and bring large‑scale cocktail programs to life. You will be in the market, in accounts, and at venues where the action is.
Key Responsibilities- Own and execute a territory sales plan focused on distribution growth, velocity, and visibility.
- Build deep, trusted relationships with distributor partners, venue operators, and on‑premise decision‑makers.
- Lead ride‑withs, staff trainings, tastings, menu placements, and program sell‑ins.
- Identify, secure, and launch high‑traffic venues including stadiums, arenas, music venues, and large‑format bars.
- Manage account records, reporting, and forecasting with discipline and accuracy.
- Transport and set up product, POS materials, samples, and kegs as needed (must be able to lift up to 60 lbs).
- Travel 2–3 overnight trips per month for market work, meetings, events, and activations.
- Cover the TN, NC, SC, AL markets
- 1–4 years of experience in beverage alcohol or distributor sales (required).
- Strong understanding of the on‑premise landscape; experience with large venues is a plus.
- Based in Nashville, TN to support territory needs.
- Self‑directed, organized, and comfortable operating across a large, multi‑state territory.
- Confident communicator with strong presentation and relationship‑building skills.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel regularly.
- Ability to lift, move, and set up 70 lb kegs and equipment.
