Job Description
The role of an On-Premise Wine Manager at Best Brands is a pivotal position, necessitating a dynamic individual who is both passionate about our products and motivated to drive business growth. Acting as a representative of Best Brands, you will form a link between our organization, customers, and suppliers, leveraging your innovative and business-oriented approach to increase sales revenue through consultative selling.
Key Responsibilities- Establish and nurture robust customer relationships, emphasizing trust and credibility.
- Identify opportunities for customer business growth and devise corresponding growth plans.
- Utilize data-driven insights to bolster sales and better achieve organizational objectives.
- Cultivate a pipeline of selling opportunities to augment sales beyond the base business.
- Execute meticulous pre-planning of account visits with specific agendas, service purposes, and selling opportunities.
- Prioritize sales activities according to each customer's business growth plan.
- Conduct regular account visits, maintaining detailed notes and planning subsequent visits based on previous outcomes.
- Maintain an in-depth understanding of BBI products, positioning them appropriately within each account.
- Offer tailored selling solutions to customers using consultative selling skills and win sales.
- Align with internal BBI and supplier objectives as directed by management.
- Manage customer issue resolution and identify additional opportunities to meet customer needs.
- Adapt selling approach based on individual customer's buying styles and business needs.
- Stay current with competitor offerings and position BBI products relative to the competition.
- Maintain accurate account and customer-specific information.
- Participate in sales meetings, on-site training, and supplier events as required.
- Manage On-Premise sales representatives daily responsibilities.
- Present new brands and provide support for all on-premise sales representatives.
- Coordinate ride-alongs for BBI on-premise sales reps with On-Premise Management.
- Assist with the planning and execution of new brand launches and supplier market visits.
- Keep the on-premise sales team informed about craft inventories.
- Prepare weekly pre-plans, set targeted sales and new distribution objectives.
- Keep abreast with current industry knowledge and on-premise market trends.
- Develop key Supplier relationships and brand execution to ensure supplier satisfaction.
- Execute assigned monthly on-premise goals and exceed promotions, placements, or feature objectives.
- Present current winery and supplier programs to targeted accounts.
- Deep knowledge of the Wine Industry and a passion for wine.
- Strong time management skills and self-motivation.
- Customer service-oriented mindset.
- Entrepreneurial spirit and confidence in public speaking.
- Certified Sommelier or WSET Level 3 Certification

Starting from $80,000.00 per year

Note:
This role requires excellent communication skills, the ability to manage expenses and company spends effectively, and a commitment to attend and participate in all weekly sales meetings, sales trainings, and beer education. The successful candidate should also have the ability to promote and execute On-Premise promotions and features during regular business hours.
