TPA is rapidly expanding across all functional areas, including research, clinical development, sales, marketing, medical affairs, supply chain, and business development. The company is dedicated to improving the treatment environment for patients with debilitating diseases through real‑world evidence research and innovative therapies.
After an agreement with Shionogi Inc., TPA will transfer global rights to Radicava and establish a new U.S. subsidiary. Should the transaction close, Shionogi will acquire the subsidiary, making this position available to Shionogi upon completion.
Neurology Account Specialist (NAS)– Role Overview
The NAS will be responsible for meeting or exceeding sales goals in an assigned territory by developing, implementing, and executing an integrated territory business plan. The incumbent will demonstrate subject‑matter expertise concerning scientific and clinical information for ALS and engage customers in clinically relevant discussions using approved materials.
Responsibilities- Meets or exceeds sales objectives for assigned geography through approved market/selling strategies and solutions.
- Understands and addresses both business and scientific needs of healthcare professionals by engaging in meaningful dialogue to determine underlying patient needs and product solutions.
- Partners with Medical Science Directors, Managers, Patient Access, Regional Business Directors, HUB services, and other personnel to develop strategies that ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Develops and implements a dynamic territory business plan by analyzing the business, competitive landscape, and territory market to drive growth.
- Builds, nurtures, and maintains professional relationships with targeted KOLs, including physicians, medical staff, hospital personnel, and ALS center staff.
- Navigates the hospital formulary process and implements strategies to ensure successful product positioning and availability.
- Anticipates potential business challenges, adjusts priorities, demonstrates flexibility, and develops solutions to address challenges.
- Maintains high proficiency in selling skills, clinical, market, and product knowledge, and the business environment of the territory.
- Collaborates with peers and company personnel to achieve corporate objectives and initiatives.
- Effectively plans and organizes schedule to ensure maximum efficiency and time utilization in accomplishing goals.
- Acts as a company ambassador; presents a professional image and represents the company, products, and people with integrity and respect.
- Completes tasks and projects assigned by the Regional Business Director.
- Ensures all activities comply with applicable regulations and pharmaceutical guidelines.
- BA/BS degree.
- Minimum of 5 years pharmaceutical sales experience, including at least 2 years in Neurology or CNS.
- Strong understanding of the pharmaceutical industry and relevant regulations/guidelines.
- Experience with new product launches.
- Highly self‑directed, committed to excellence, and possessing an entrepreneurial spirit.
- Strong selling skills with a track record of sales success, especially with new product launches.
- Polished, professional image with outstanding ability to engage others and build strong relationships.
- Excellent oral/written communication and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office; proficiency in Veeva is a plus.
- Willingness to travel up to 30%, including frequent overnight stays.

Salary range: $160,000 – $180,000, subject to geographic adjustments and internal equity. This position is eligible to participate in the quarterly sales incentive plan, with details provided upon hire.
