The BDC Agent plays a pivotal role in the automotive industry by managing inbound and outbound communication with potential and existing customers. The primary goal is to enhance customer experience, drive sales, and support the dealership's overall objectives by efficiently handling inquiries and setting appointments for the sales team.
Key Responsibilities:
Handle incoming calls and emails from prospective and existing customers in a courteous and professional manner.
Generate and manage leads through various communication channels to increase sales opportunities.
Schedule appointments for the sales team with potential buyers, ensuring a seamless transition from inquiry to dealership visit.
Maintain and update the customer database with accurate and timely information.
Follow up with customers post-appointment/post-sale to ensure satisfaction and address any additional inquiries.
Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to develop effective strategies for lead generation and customer retention.
Provide detailed reports on customer interactions and feedback to assist in improving service quality and sales processes.
Stay informed about the latest automotive products, services, and industry trends to effectively communicate with customers.
Meet or exceed monthly performance targets and contribute to the overall success of dealership.
Required
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent is required.
An associate degree in business administration or a related field is preferred.
Required Experience:
Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a customer service or sales role, preferably within the automotive industry.
Experience with CRM software and other sales tools is highly desirable.
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and customer satisfaction metrics.

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively engage with customers.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, ensuring accurate data entry and follow-up.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and comfortable with technology and digital communication platforms.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally.
A proactive attitude with a strong desire to learn and adapt to new processes and technologies.
