Job Purpose
The Internal Wholesaler Training Program provides a highly motivated individual with an opportunity to earn the licensing and complete the necessary training for a sales career in the financial services industry. This is achieved by learning about the industry, Jackson, and how the products we sell fit into a client's overall financial planning and retirement strategy. The program is designed to help an individual develop the skills necessary to become an Internal Wholesaler or RIA Internal Consultant within approximately 5-8 months after being hired.
EssentialResponsibilities
- Obtain SIE, Series 6, 63 and State Life Insurance License registration within 90 days. Additional FINRA licensing may be required.
- Complete assigned projects in a timely manner.
- Learn Jackson's systems, sales model, and products.
- Participate in trainings and develop knowledge of the financial services industry.
- Work with Internal Wholesalers and RIA Internal Consultants to learn about the wholesaling role, territory management, and product sales.
- Complete New Hire Product Training and Supplemental Training.
- Perform other duties and/or projects as assigned.
- Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written.
- Be detail and process oriented.
- Possess a strong work ethic, excellent computer skills, and a strong desire to learn and succeed.
- Have critical thinking and analytical skills.
- Demonstrate ability to be self-driven and follow through as directed by management.
- Enjoy working in a competitive environment.
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required. Experience working in a professional office environment preferred. FINRA SIE, FINRA Series 6 or 7, FINRA Series 63, State Insurance License required. If the required registration(s) is not held by the applicant, the individual will have 90 days to obtain the required registration(s), but will be limited in job function until complete registration(s) is obtained.
