Job Title:

Ladder Liaison - Community Engagement Manager
Location: TN (Nashville metropolitan area)

About Us: Ladder Health, an innovative virtual care platform built alongside clinicians at Boston Children's Hospital, serves as an end-to-end developmental partner for children (0-6 years old) with developmental delays. Ladder offers an alternative to waitlisted state-based programs or private pay practices, guiding families through our developmental screener, clinical evaluations, and comprehensive virtual care with specialized therapists (PT, OT, SLP). Our platform supports a coordinated care plan with resources, HIPAA-compliant messaging, and integration with pediatric care teams, primarily monetized through Fee-for-Service (FFS) therapy revenues.

Ladder partners with pediatricians and community organizations to improve access and quality of care for families.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and Sustain Strategic Partnerships: Establish and maintain relationships with local pediatricians, clinics, educational centers, and social service organizations through targeted outreach and community engagement, including a deliberate, ongoing follow-up cadence across a full spectrum of digital communications, warm introductions and direct in-person engagement, especially in the critical weeks immediately following a partner's first referral
  • Educational Presentations
    :
Conduct impactful in-service presentations and workshops tailored to each partner type (built on marketing-provided materials and messaging) to educate on Ladder’s offerings, developmental milestones, and referral processes
  • Customized Engagement Plans
    :
Create and execute partner-specific engagement strategies, including a calendared check-in schedule through at least the first 90 days after a partner's first referral, to align with the goals of pediatric providers, educators, and social services
  • Personal Follow-Through: Reinforce Ladder's automated partner communications (screening tools, educational resources, referral guidelines) with a real, local point of contact, the personal relationship is what our data shows makes those materials land
  • Portfolio Health Management: Regularly review your existing partner base to identify accounts that have gone quiet or slowed their referral activity, and proactively re-engage them, sustaining a healthy existing relationship is as valuable as building a new one.
  • Community Outreach
    :
Participate in local health fairs, community events, and informational sessions to strengthen community presence and relationships, prioritizing the partners and moments where in-person time has the most impact, since travel is a real and limited resource
  • Feedback and Adaptation
    :
Collect feedback from partners, address challenges, and work collaboratively to refine the referral and service processes for maximum efficiency
  • Collaborate with Internal Teams
    :
Work closely with marketing, product, and technical teams, who own the automated email campaigns and educational content that keep partners engaged between visits, to develop materials and systems that support partner engagement and make integration seamless; this partnership is what frees the Liaison to focus on the in-person, relationship-building work that only a locally present person can do
  • CRM Management
    :
Consistently and promptly track and document partner interactions (calls, visits, and every follow-up) in the company CRM system, ensuring accurate reporting and follow-ups
Who You Are:
  • Experience
: 3+ years in business development, account management or partnership roles, preferably in pediatric healthcare, early childhood education, or community services
  • Community Network
    :
Existing strong connections within local healthcare, education, and social service networks
