Job OverviewThe Regional Sales Manager (RSM) is responsible for increasing sales of the HASKEL BUTECH portfolio through assigned Channel Distributors and Direct Key accounts (OEM, EPCs, System Integrators). The RSM will apply advanced sales strategies, channel management skills, and technical expertise to maximize product sales and influence brand preference across multiple markets.
Responsibilities- Build, manage, and develop a robust network of Channel Partners to drive sales of Paragon products.
- Collaborate with Channel Partner Principals, Product Champions, and the Senior Regional Sales Manager to develop and execute territory strategies aligned with revenue, margin, and growth targets.
- Identify, qualify, and pursue opportunities through cold calls, market research, and a strong industry network; maintain a documented pipeline in Salesforce.
- Provide product education and technical assistance to customers, including troubleshooting and installation guidance.
- Participate in all stages of the sales cycle, including quoting, account management, and collections; set measurable goals for targeted accounts.
- Work with Engineering, Product Development, and Operations teams to ensure seamless implementation and effective account growth.
- Lead presentations to customers and attend industry trade shows and conferences.
- Supervise a large network of Channel Partner organizations across multiple states.
- High School Diploma.
- 3+ years of experience in industrial or pump sales.
- Channel Sales Expertise: manage partner networks, drive revenue growth, and achieve measurable results.
- Product and Market Knowledge: expertise in hydraulics, positive displacement blowers, and other rotating equipment.
- Strategic Thinking and Planning: assess market opportunities and develop actionable strategies.
- Customer-Centric Approach: build strong relationships and tailor solutions.
- Technical Proficiency: provide support, troubleshoot product issues, and guide customers.
- Strong Communication and
Collaboration:
negotiate, persuade, and foster positive relationships. - Time and Task Management: highly organized and balance multiple priorities.
- Business Acumen: apply financial insight to inform decisions.
- Self‑Motivation and Discipline: work independently and as part of a team.
- Technology Proficiency: use Microsoft Office, Salesforce, and other CRM tools.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field with hydraulic/pneumatic systems experience.
- Experience with Salesforce and SAP.
60%+ overnight travel to customer sites is required.
Pay RangeThe total pay range for this role (not including incentives) is $90,000 – $115,000, based on skill, experience, and other factors. Geographic differentials apply as appropriate.
