Allied Universal Services is seeking the position of an Armed Security Shift Supervisor
.

Starting Pay $25.00 / Hour

The Armed Security Shift Supervisor will supervise and coordinate the delivery of quality security services on a specific shift at an assigned customer. They act as a liaison between the site supervisor, Account Manager/Field Operations Manager and professional security officers. They supervise staff on the assigned shift, providing coaching, recognition, and discipline within an approved empowerment range.

Supervises and coordinates the delivery of quality services on a given shift, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures and maintaining a safe, secure environment for clients and employees.

• Be at least 21 years of age with a high school diploma or equivalent
• 1+ years of Armed Security/Law Enforcement/Military experience
• Supervisory experience required
• Valid Driver's License and clean driving record
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
• As a condition of employment, applicant must successfully complete a background investigation and a drug screen in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
• Display exceptional customer service and communication skills
• Have intermediate computer skills to operate innovative, wireless technology at client sites
• Ability to handle crisis situations calmly and efficiently at the client site
• Communicate staffing needs on shift to Account Manager or Operations Manager
• Ensure officers receive appropriate training and develop them in technical and professional skills
• Ensure employee grievances are heard with help from appropriate HR support and Account or Operations Manager
• Administer JSA’s and safety programs outlining site-specific hazards for officers on assigned shift, including vehicle/driving safety per corporate procedures
• Assist Account or Operations Manager in managing uniforms, equipment, supplies, and vehicles at the account, maintaining inventories and maintenance checklists
• Able to:
• Work in various environments such as cold weather, rain/snow, or heat
• Occasionally lift or carry up to 40 pounds
• Climb stairs, ramps, or ladders occasionally during shift
• Stand or walk on various surfaces for long periods
