Hiring Immediately

Sunstates Security is currently hiring Security Officers in the Nashville, TN area for all shifts and days. This position offers a pay rate of $16.75/hr depending on experience - with weekly pay.

All qualifying candidates are eligible for a 401(k) with employer match (up to 8%) that work 20 hours a week (minimum of 500 hours per year or more worked) and have completed six months of service with Sunstates Security.

• TN Security License preferred but not required
• Exceptional customer service skills and critical thinking skills
• Must be able to conduct hourly patrols, maintain access control exc.
• Excellent written and verbal skills
• Must be computer literate and have basic computer skills
• Professional attitude and appearance
• Ability to work with limited supervision
• Must be reliable and dependable

• Ensure the security of the area
• Ensure the rules and regulations are followed
• Report writing (daily activity, incident, visitor logs, maintenance items, etc.)
• Checking in visitors, ensure policies are followed, foot patrols, access control.
• Most of time worked will be spent at receptionist area.
• Monitor CCTV cameras and equipment
• Other duties as assigned by management

The Flex Officer position is crucial to our company’s operational and financial success. The flex officer provides trained, competent support by working shifts which become open due to illness, call-offs, weather, vacation, or other causes. This enables Sunstates to provide continual, uninterrupted service to our customers, while also protecting the health and work balance of our personnel.

The Scheduling Parameters And Expectations For a Flex Officer Are Different From Those Of An Employee Assigned To a Fixed Post. As a Flex Officer, you:

• You will be trained at various posts and /or facilities based on operational need. While you may work at a specific post or location for several weeks due to need, this will not be a permanent assignment.
• Your schedule (shifts, days off, hours per week, etc.) will vary based on operational need.
• You will be assigned to, or offered the opportunity to accept, shifts as they become available due to staffing needs.
• Some of your shifts will be scheduled in advance and posted with the new week’s schedule. Sometimes you will be called with short notice and asked to come in to cover for someone who is unable to work their shift.
