** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a utilities location.

+ Respond to incidents, alarms, service calls, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting unusual activity to the appropriate contacts.

+ Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout operational areas, buildings, access points, and perimeter locations, noting conditions that could impact daily operations or require follow-up.

+ Monitor entry and exit activity and help to deter unauthorized access, trespassing, and/or policy violations while maintaining a visible presence throughout the location.

+ Support site operations by communicating with supervisors, local staff, and/or first responders during outages, equipment issues, weather-related events, and other utility-related disruptions.

* Minimum Requirements:

*
* + Be at least 21 years of age.

+ Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.

+ A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ Access control and badge experience is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
