** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and/or officials by carrying out site-specific procedures, verifying credentials, and managing access at designated entry points within a government location.

+ Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas to help to deter unauthorized access, and communicate access requirements in a professional manner.

+ Screen visitors, contractors, and/or deliveries, maintain accurate access logs, and report unusual activity or policy concerns to site leadership.

+ Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following post orders and emergency response activities as appropriate.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols around access points, lobbies, and perimeter areas, noting security-related concerns and documenting observations according to site procedures.

* Minimum Requirements:

* + Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.

+ Possess an armed guard card and/or license.

+ Be at least 21 years of age.

+ Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
