What You'll Do:

* Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities.

* Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts as needed.

* Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including hallways, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter zones, to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify unusual conditions.

* Monitor access points and visitor activity, support orderly movement throughout the location, and report suspicious behavior, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations to appropriate personnel.

* Assist with de-escalation efforts and provide general support during medical-related events, visitor concerns, and/or other situations that require a visible Allied Universal presence.

Minimum Requirements:

* A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.

* At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.

* Required hospital vaccinations must be obtained and maintained.

* Must be able to work in hospital areas that may include the morgue.

* Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.

* Be at least 21 years of age.

* Must be able to restrain individuals in a hospital environment.

* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

* Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

* Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
