** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities.

+ Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts as needed.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including hallways, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter zones, to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify unusual conditions.

+ Monitor access points and visitor activity, support orderly movement throughout the location, and report suspicious behavior, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations to appropriate personnel.

+ Assist with de-escalation efforts and provide general support during medical-related events, visitor concerns, and/or other situations that require a visible Allied Universal presence.

* Minimum Requirements:

* + A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.

+ At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.

+ Required hospital vaccinations must be obtained and maintained.

+ Must be able to work in hospital areas that may include the morgue.

+ Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.

+ Be at least 21 years of age.

+ Must be able to restrain individuals in a hospital environment.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
