HOW YOU’LL SHAPE THE EXPERIENCE & FUTURE

  • Patrol lobbies, corridors, and public rooms, confer with management, interview guests and employees and interrogates persons to detect infringements, investigate disturbances, complaints, thefts, vandalism, etc.
  • Patrol public areas to detect fires, unsafe conditions and damaged or inoperative safety equipment.
  • Warn or eject troublemakers and cautions careless persons.
  • Obtain assistance for accident victims and file accident reports.
  • Notify staff of presence of persons with questionable reputations.
  • Assist management and enforcement officers in emergency situations.
  • May enter and check rooms of guests suspected of leaving without paying bill to confirm suspicions and to seize any remaining personal property
  • Other duties as assigned.
KEY STRENGTHS FOR SUCCESS
  • Ability to guide, support, and train Loss Prevention Officers while maintaining a calm and authoritative presence on property.
  • Skilled in handling disturbances, guest complaints, and security incidents with professionalism and discretion.
  • Exercises sound decision-making in high-pressure situations, including emergencies and policy violations.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in security or 1 year of law enforcement experience, or an equivalent combination.
  • Patrolling hotel areas, including lobbies, corridors, and public spaces, to maintain order and deter threats.
  • Investigating thefts, vandalism, guest concerns, and suspicious behavior.
  • Managing emergency responses and assisting in accident situations.
  • Monitoring safety equipment and reporting hazardous conditions.
  • Identifying and addressing guests with questionable reputations or concerning behavior.
  • Supervising Loss Prevention Officers, providing guidance, coaching, and direction.
  • Supporting hotel leadership during high-volume events or group stays.
ACADEMIC BACKGROUND
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
