Security Officer - Medical Center - Afternoon Shift

Allied Universal -  - Responsibilities:
Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location;
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions;
Monitor entrances, common areas, and restricted locations to deter unauthorized access, assist with visitor directions, and support security-related policies and procedures;
Assist with de-escalation of tense situations, provide reassurance and information to the public, and communicate with staff and/or first responders during medical and non-medical incidents as needed;
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns
