Security Officer

Responsibilities

• Protect hotel guests, associates, and property; respond to security problems and emergency situations in accordance with all policies, procedures and regulations of Dream Hotel Group.
• Patrol all areas of the property, including outside, on a regular basis; conduct floor patrols, property tours, and crowd control.
• Respond to guest complaints and concerns and investigate to remedy the situation with a sense of urgency.
• Search for, handle, and report any unusual circumstances, safety violations, destruction, or suspicious persons; escort off property if necessary and correct and report any fire hazards and health and safety hazards.
• Complete daily incident logs including theft, accidents and safety violations.
• Complete necessary security forms to document losses of property or personal injury to guests or associates; investigate and report violations of law or hotel policy.
• Maintain all safety, security and emergency procedures/action plans; respond immediately to emergency alarms or calls for help, determine course of action, notify appropriate authorities and perform first aid as needed.
• Conduct investigations of security incidents.
• Enforce the 'No Solicitation Policy' of the property.
• Preserve the safety and security of the guests and team members; maintain OSHA compliance and adhere to federal, state and local standards.
• Follow property and corporate guidelines to protect guests and staff, secure assets, and minimize liability.
• Perform all other tasks and duties as assigned.

• Previous hotel experience (recommended).
• Certification in CPR and First Aid (preferred).
• Must possess a professional presentation.
• Strong interpersonal and problem‑solving abilities.
