This role will be located at Troubadour Golf & Field Club, outside Nashville, Tennessee. The community safety & security professional will be responsible for the safety and well‑being of all members, guests, employees, and contractors at The Troubadour Club. This is a full‑time hourly position ($27.00 per hour), second shift (2:00 PM to 10:00 PM).
Responsibilities- Perform advanced protection services for members, guests, employees, and contractors while assigned to a designated post.
- Provide superior customer service within department standards.
- Respond to emergency situations and provide appropriate first aid.
- Conduct proficiency and development training, including quarterly firearm qualification, tactics training, and monthly sustainment training.
- Provide access control using judgment and company tools such as access control systems, logs, etc.; detect, investigate, and deny access to unauthorized persons.
- Recognize and report safety hazards and security vulnerabilities to management.
- Maintain strong oral and written communication skills and basic computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Maintain valid Tennessee Armed Guard License with Dallas Law training and valid CPR & First Aid certificates.
- Walk and stand for prolonged periods throughout shift; be able to work outdoors and in varying weather.
- Be prepared to work outside regular hours on short notice.
- Pass the shooting qualification prior to hire and quarterly thereafter.
- Prior experience in armed security (3 years minimum), law enforcement, or military.
- Valid Tennessee Armed Guard License with Dallas Law training.
- Valid Tennessee driver’s license.
- Clear criminal background.
- High school diploma, GED, or higher education.
- Ability to work calmly and efficiently in high‑duress situations.
- Ability to physically restrain individuals when necessary.
- Strong oral and written communication skills and basic computer skills.
- Ability to work and stand inside/outside in all weather conditions.
- Pass quarterly shooting qualification.
