Job DescriptionAs an Unarmed Security Professional at Extrity Services, you will be crucial in ensuring the safety and security of our clients and their premises. Under the guidance of the Site Supervisor, Field Supervisor, or Regional Manager, you will implement security protocols, monitor activities, and respond to incidents with professionalism and attention to detail.
What You’ll Be Doing- Adhere to the company’s dress code and maintain a professional appearance.
- Demonstrate punctuality and arrive on time for assigned shifts.
- Conduct yourself courteously and professionally with all clients, visitors, and colleagues.
- Enforce access control procedures and maintain records accurately.
- Conduct regular patrols to detect and deter unauthorized activities.
- Maintain and report on the functionality of security equipment.
- Respond promptly to security incidents, following established protocols.
- Document incidents accurately and prepare detailed reports.
- Assist with investigations by providing timely information.
- Provide truthful and timely data, including incident and shift reports.
- Valid Tennessee Unarmed Security Guard Registration, or the ability to obtain and maintain one.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and conflict‑resolution skills.
- Ability to de‑escalate tense or emotionally charged situations while maintaining a calm, professional demeanor.
- Experience in conducting patrols, surveillance, and managing security incidents.
- Knowledge of security equipment and its proper usage.
- Understanding of emergency protocols and ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Familiarity with access control procedures and identification verification.
- Knowledge of first aid, CPR, and emergency procedures (not required).
- Excellent documentation and report‑writing skills.
- Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
