What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to site leadership and/or first responders when appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity, unsecured access points, and/or policy violations.
- Monitor access points and observe activity across the location to help support a welcoming environment while reporting hazards, suspicious behavior, and/or maintenance concerns through proper channels.
- Prepare clear, timely reports on incidents, patrol activity, and noteworthy observations, and assist with security-related requests from staff, patients, and visitors as needed.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
- A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Possession of a guard card and/or license is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
