Dismas Charities is a leading provider of community-based adult re‑entry programs.

Summary:Monitors the custody, security, control, and maintenance of the facility and residents.
Due to contractual obligations, only female applicants are considered for this position.
ShiftSchedule:
Full‑time, 40 hours per week. Variable as needed.
- Tuesday – Saturday, 3:30 PM – 12:00 AM
- Monitors Residents:
Observes, documents, and ensures the accountability of all residents within the facility and in the community by enforcing rules, responsibilities, and restrictions. Provides control and documentation of all transactions involving money, subsistence, medications, first‑aid supplies, mail, visitors, accountability checks, and telephone calls. - Assists with Managing Program Services:
Supports Counselors with resident programming, including installing electronic monitoring equipment, visiting residents in homes or workplaces, and providing alcohol and urine surveillance testing. - Monitors Facility:
Conducts and documents scheduled internal and external inspections of the premises to maintain health, safety, and accountability of the residents. Ensures physical plant safety and sanitation standards are maintained. - Maintains Working Knowledge and Follows All Procedures and Policies:
Applies the Statement of Work, Physical Plant and Operations Manuals, and proficiency in emergency drills, life safety, facility sanitation, escape, and unusual occurrence procedures. - Work Schedule:
During a work stoppage, works the hours necessary to staff the center. Will accept reassigned shifts without advanced notice and attend all required appointments/meetings, which may be scheduled off site. - Sanitation:
Responsible for general housekeeping of the workplace, including dusting, polishing, vacuuming, and trash removal. - Other:
Additional duties may be assigned by the Director. These programs operate under federal or state contracting authority or executive management, which may modify operating standards, staffing requirements, and qualifications as needed.
- High School diploma or equivalent and at least one year of paid work experience; demonstrated ability to work with individuals and groups in routine and emergency situations.
