HOW YOU'LL SHAPE THE EXPERIENCE & FUTURE
* Patrol lobbies, corridors, and public rooms, confer with management, interview guests and employees and interrogates persons to detect infringements, investigate disturbances, complaints, thefts, vandalism, etc.
* Patrol public areas to detect fires, unsafe conditions and damaged or inoperative safety equipment.
* Warn or eject troublemakers and cautions careless persons.
* Obtain assistance for accident victims and file accident reports.
* Notify staff of presence of persons with questionable reputations.
* Assist management and enforcement officers in emergency situations.
* May enter and check rooms of guests suspected of leaving without paying bill to confirm suspicions and to seize any remaining personal property
* Other duties as assigned.
KEY STRENGTHS FOR SUCCESS
* Ability to guide, support, and train Loss Prevention Officers while maintaining a calm and authoritative presence on property.
* Skilled in handling disturbances, guest complaints, and security incidents with professionalism and discretion.
* Exercises sound decision-making in high-pressure situations, including emergencies and policy violations.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
* Minimum 2 years of experience in security or 1 year of law enforcement experience, or an equivalent combination.
* Patrolling hotel areas, including lobbies, corridors, and public spaces, to maintain order and deter threats.
* Investigating thefts, vandalism, guest concerns, and suspicious behavior.
* Managing emergency responses and assisting in accident situations.
* Monitoring safety equipment and reporting hazardous conditions.
* Identifying and addressing guests with questionable reputations or concerning behavior.
* Supervising Loss Prevention Officers, providing guidance, coaching, and direction.
* Supporting hotel leadership during high-volume events or group stays.
ACADEMIC BACKGROUND
* High School Diploma or equivalent required.
