Branch Security Officer

Summary

The Branch Security Officer maintains a safe and secure environment for clients and employees at a retail store. This role serves as a brand ambassador and first point of contact while supporting sales and delivering exceptional customer experiences. The officer partners with store leadership to deter theft, respond to incidents, and ensure compliance with security procedures. Responsibilities also include back-of-house operations such as opening and closing and routine equipment checks.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a secure environment for customers and staff and deter theft through visible and proactive security presence.
• Serve as an ambassador and first point of contact, supporting client engagement and store hospitality.
• Support store sales efforts by deepening client relationships and executing store operations that contribute to sales plans.
• Implement security controls and incident management procedures, including reporting missing assets and responding to emergency situations.
• Perform daily inspections, alarm tests, key access management, and other security equipment checks and report submissions.
• Carry out opening and closing procedures and assist with facilities repairs and coordination with the store team.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to work retail store hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Authorization to work in the United States.
• Preferred: experience in a retail or security environment.
• Preferred: 1 year prior experience in a security-related position.
