Security Officer

We are seeking a Security Officer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our premises during weekend nights. You will play a crucial role in maintaining a secure environment for our staff, visitors, and assets. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to handle unexpected situations with professionalism and composure.

• Conduct regular patrols of the premises throughout the night to deter and detect unauthorized individuals or activities.
• Monitor security cameras and alarms to identify and respond to any suspicious behavior or incidents.
• Respond promptly to emergencies, such as medical situations or security breaches, and take appropriate actions as required.
• Secure all entry and exit points, ensuring that only authorized personnel are allowed access.
• Complete detailed reports documenting any security-related incidents, activities, or observations.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement agencies or emergency services when necessary to address security concerns.
• Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with staff, visitors, and vendors at all times.

• Prior experience in security, law enforcement, or a related field is preferred.
• Must be able to work overnight shifts on weekends, including holidays.
• Excellent observational skills and the ability to remain alert and focused during quiet periods.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with a diverse group of individuals.
• Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and make quick decisions under pressure.
• Basic knowledge of security protocols and procedures to ensure effective response to emergencies.
• Physical stamina and fitness to perform regular patrols and respond to incidents as needed.
