As a Security Officer Armed Patrol in Nashville, TN
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer supporting a utilities location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns. You will provide professional customer service and clear communication while supporting site operations. • Provide customer service to clients at a utilities location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of utility facilities, grounds, access points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as directed, and document visitor, contractor, and vehicle activity in accordance with site requirements.
• Prepare accurate reports of incidents, observations, patrols, and other security-related activities, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

• Possess at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
• Experience with handcuffs, pepper spray, and baton is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification are preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
