Journeyman Carpenter

Overview

The hours for this role are Monday-Friday 6:30am-3pm.

Rooms To Go is hiring a Carpenter for our Distribution Center!

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and sketches to fully grasp requirements
• Capacity to take measurements and calculate resources needed to perform and complete task or project
• Fabricate, cut, shape and install wood and other material according to specifications
• Perform repair work on furniture
• Provide quality workmanship with attention to detail
• Operate hand tools, performing all work in a safe manner

• Skilled in general carpentry, cabinetry and lamination
• Solid knowledge of wood properties, experience in working with carpentry materials
• Excellent understanding of carpentry techniques and methods of installation and construction
• Good understanding of basic math
• Be at least 18 years of age
• Able to repeatedly lift 50 lbs.
• Able to submit to a Drug Test and Background Investigation
• Ability to bend, stand, walk for prolonged period of time
• Able to follow directions and work safely
