Landscape Crew Leader – Installation
Pay Rate - $21.00 - $23.00 (based on experience)
AboutThe Role
As a Landscape Crew Leader, you will run installation projects from start to finish, lead a crew, read plans, solve problems on site, and ensure every project is completed safely, on time, and with high‑quality results. This is a hands‑on field leadership role where your craftsmanship and teamwork truly matter.

Your work directly shapes outdoor spaces customers love.
- Read and follow landscape designs and site plans
- Plan daily tasks, tools, and materials
- Supervise, train, and support crew members
- Perform and oversee installation of softscape and hardscape elements
- Operate equipment safely (skid steer, trencher, compactors, etc.)
- Maintain quality, cleanliness, and safety on every site
- Track hours/materials and complete basic documentation
- Communicate updates to clients and Operations Managers
- 2–3 years landscaping experience (installation preferred)
- 1+ year leadership experience on a crew
- Strong knowledge of planting, grading, hardscape layout, and irrigation basics
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather
- Skilled with landscape construction tools and equipment
- Organized, safety‑focused, and able to adjust in a fast‑paced field environment
- Valid driver's license (DOT card or equipment certifications a plus)
- Completing projects on time and on budget
- High customer satisfaction
- Strong crew performance and safety
- Accurate tracking and documentation
Outdoor, physical work including lifting up to 50 lbs, bending, kneeling, operating equipment, and working in all weather. PPE required.
Schedule- Early start times
- Overtime
- Occasional weekend work
